The former tennis star, Boris Becker, has announced he will move to Switzerland from neighbouring Germany. He and his manager are also planning to set up a joint sports marketing company, based in the central Swiss town of Zug.
Becker praised Switzerland as a country with high living standards. A year ago, a court in Germany found Becker guilty of tax evasion for claiming residence in Monaco, while actually staying in Munich in the 1990s.
He was given a two-year suspended jail sentence and made to pay a €500,000 (SFr776,175) fine.
